Northern Alaska gears up for Fall fun at USO

Fall is in full swing, and so is our programming in Northern Alaska! USO Fort Wainwright celebrated September birthdays with our monthly birthday party at the center. We also support the Army Community Services Spouse Super Saturday training event with goodie bags with supplies to keep bellies full and minds sharp during this all-day training. Our winter gaming nights are back in session as September kicked off our Dungeons & Dragons Night and Warhammer Night. These games will continue through spring. Wake Up Wednesday is also a hit monthly as patrons look forward to stopping at the center to grab their mid-week pick-me-up.

USO Eielson created beautiful fall centerpieces that create a welcoming atmosphere in any home. LEGO Night monthly is a great way for kids and adults to use their creativity to create LEGO masterpieces based on the night’s theme. We look forward to taking our programming to service members and families on Eielson as programming on base has shifted based on needs and participation from center-based operations to outreach.
