Hello! I’m Rita, the Senior Area Operations Specialist supporting Expeditionary and Outreach programs across remote areas of Alaska. I have been with the USO since 2021 and have had the privilege of meeting and supporting service members at units, stations, vessels and locations throughout the state.
I retired from the U.S. Air Force and soon after married my husband Adam. Since retiring from military service, we moved several times before eventually settling in Alaska, which we now proudly call home. In one way or another, I have spent nearly four decades connected to the military community and supporting those who serve.
Through my work with the USO Expeditionary program, I travel across Alaska delivering morale-boosting programs and outreach to service members and their families, especially those stationed in remote locations. It is an honor to continue serving the military community and I hope to meet many of you during my journeys throughout Alaska.
